03 — Deep Dive
Architecting for the Field
Retail outlets are notoriously difficult for network connectivity. By heavily modifying our Flutter implementation to utilize Riverpod and Hive, we ensured that field agents could scan, photograph, and report without ever seeing a loading spinner.
When the agent returned to a network zone, the backend automatically ingested thousands of complex data mutations via robust queue implementations handled by Django REST API.
